Waterkloof Guesthouse/Firwood Lodge, a 5 star guesthouse with 30 rooms, a 75-seater conference room and function venue. The guesthouse offers an opportunity for a young energetic confident chef to express their personal style of cooking and will be given creative freedom.

We are looking for a chef/cook that:
• has a passion for food and food presentation
• understand hospitality and the personal touches that make a difference for guests
• has confidence to manage all aspect of the kitchen including menu planning (breakfast, lunch, dinner, room service, functions, high teas, conferences), stock control, stock ordering, enforcing health and safety regulations,
• good communications skills
• the ability to work under pressure
• the ability to put stock control systems in place
• the ability to work with clients and discuss and plan menu’s with them for baby showers, kitchen tea’s and weddings
