We’re the largest chef school in South Africa, offering a range of chef courses and cooking classes to meet all of your individual needs. Capsicum’s professional programmes on offer are internationally accredited (City & Guilds), allowing graduates entry into the marketplace anywhere in the world.

Part Time Study
The following Culinary Arts Programmes are also available on a part time basis. These programmes are offered twice a week depending on schedule availability. Please contact your nearest Campus to confirm dates and times.

Capsicum Culinary Studio has an extensive Modular Programme allowing prospective Chefs to study at their own pace as well as Day and Block Release Studies available.

This programme covers a wide range of areas related to the skills and knowledge required for preparing students who want to obtain the skills to progress into confectionery and cake decorating industry.

Combination Programme in Culinary Arts Culinary Arts
Qualification: City & Guilds Diploma in Food Preparation and Cooking and City & Guilds Diploma in Patisserie  
Industry Placement: Yes Dates: February and July intake
Become an executive chef in a hotel, restaurant, guest home, conferencing venue, wedding and events venue, game lodge, cruise ship, theme parks, either in South Africa or anywhere in the world.
